IT (Information Technology) Teachers of Walailak University passed the UKPSF Senior Fellow and Fellow assessment.

UKPSF is a standard system developed from effective teaching and learning programs from over 20 countries in the West. There are 3 components that are linked together: Part 1 Area of ​​Activity is activities or competencies in managing and supporting learning. Design and assessment of teaching giving students problems in analytical learning seriously. Part 2 Core Knowledge is the core knowledge, which is to focus on the teachers having knowledge of the content seriously, in order to teachers to teach students correctly and Part 3 Professional Values ​​include the criteria for being a teacher, focusing on students’ participation teaching and learning. The UKPSF is divided into 4 levels: Principal Fellow, Senior Fellow, Fellow and Associate Fellow.

Higher Education Academy (HEA) is a national independent organization in England that has developed the UKPSF framework to assess and certify the development of teaching quality of teachers. Including academic standing of those who pass the assessment.

IT (Information Technology) Teachers of  Walailak University, who passed the UKPSF assessment at the Senior Fellow level, namely Dr. Salin Boonbrahm. and Fellow level is Asst.Prof.Dr. Supaporn Chairungsee., Dr. Nichnan Kittiphattanabawon. and Dr. Chanankorn Jandaeng. Currently 4 professors based in the the Information Technology Program, School of Information Science, Walailak University.
