Digital Content & Media program has an online workshop called “Development of cultural heritage information system of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.”

On July 23, 2021, the Digital Content & Media Program, School of Informatics, Walailak University, has an online workshop titled “Development of cultural heritage information system of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.” Its purpose is to create a conceptual framework for the development of cultural heritage information systems. The aforementioned cultural heritage is a demonstration of the history of the people and the local tribes. In addition to representing the honor and pride of a nation, cultural heritage is also beneficial for education, research, inheritance, dissemination, and further application in improving the quality of life of people in a country. Walailak University. This workshop consisted of 2 main sessions. The first is an academic lecture on “Storing, Promoting, and Conserving Cultural Heritage Information in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province by the National Library, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Mrs. Pornthip Phothong. And the second session is a workshop on “Building a cultural heritage information system with Tematres server version 3.01” with speakers Ms. Pornthip Phothong, Director of the National Library of Nakhon Si Thammarat Ajarn Dr. Yuttana Jaroenruen, School of Informatics, Walailak University.
Because of Covid-19, These workshops are held online. A total of 55 people interested in cultural heritage were attended highly by teachers, students, and practitioners.
