History

           The School of Informatics has a mission to provide higher education to the students in five undergraduate programs: Information Technology, Software Engineering, Digital Information, Communication Arts and the Multimedia Technology & Animation program. We also offer two graduate programs: M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Management of Technology. In the year 2018, we included an additional undergraduate program in “Medical Informatics”. The intention of the School of Informatics is to create qualified graduates to serve in our changing society and industries in the near future, we will concentrate on establishing teamwork, communication skills, information technology skills and specific skills of student choice, so that when graduated the student will be ready to cope in their future job market. We further enhance progressive industry standards through regular teaching and laboratory routines, the students will have to a chance to participate in many activities provided by the school such as instruction from specialised guest speakers, participating in the symposium, exhibitions, cooperative education and industry site visits. These activities will enable students in the School of Informatics to gain more knowledge and experience from both inside the university and outside world, which will open up their vision and creative thinking.
