Information Technology program of School of Informatics, Walailak University focuses on building the qualified information technology professionals who can perform in the target career practically. They can integrate both information technology and management and work in real world. The study is provided with two major themes: Application development and IT services. The graduates are also expected to have professional ethics.

They would be responsible for themselves and society. They are able to do analysis and synthesis in order to the appropriate operation.
