Overview of the Program
The Master of Science Program in Management of Information Technology Innovation (International Program) is the program established by the School of Informatics at Walailak University. Students can either take the research–based program with a thesis or course work with an independent study program. Areas of study range from Management of IT, Data Sciences, Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), and Intelligent Technology to Mixed Reality Technology & games.

Objective
The program’s main objective is to produce a Master in Information Technology with the knowledge effectively applied in responsible work with integrity and ethics. Students can use their knowledge to improve work processes and develop new jobs related to information technology. They also gain communication skills to publish academic works in an international journal.

Requirement for Application
Applicants must meet the qualification as specified in each program as follows.
Type 1.1: Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent in related program.
Language Proficiency Requirement
Applicants from a country where English is not the first language must enclose English Proficiency test result. The result must not be more than two years. The following English Proficiency tests are accepted for graduate admission, and a minimum score should be as follow: TOEFL ITP 450 or TOEFL CBT 153 or TOEFL IBT 45 or IELTS 5 or WU–TEP 63 or CEFR B1.

Selection Process
All received applications will be assessed and ranked against the eligible criteria for the available quota by the program committee. Outcome will be circulated after the selection process is finalized.
Graduation Criteria
1. Passed the English examination according to Walailak University regulations.
2. Passed the thesis examination in English and the complete thesis has been submitted to the university.
3. The thesis work or part of the thesis must be published or at least accepted for publication in a national or international journal.
