Innovation of Medical Informatics (IMI) invited the hospital officer to be the speaker on “Physical therapy in the hospital”.

Innovation of Medical Informatics major, School of Informatics focuses on producing the qualified medical informatics graduates who can work on their career effectively. IMI is to produce the graduates who possess the virtue, be the knowledgeable persons in both Information Technology and medical knowledge, be able to integrate knowledge to practice and focus on teaching and learning in information system development and medical data analytics.

IMI62-151 Experience in Healthcare Organization is the subject to study on the healthcare organization operation and the use of medical information system. It is the study by real world scenario.  According to the Covid-19 situation, the class has been prohibited for the hospital visit session. Thus, IMI major invited Mr. Taweepol Saenpakdee, professional level physiotherapist at Thasala hospital to be the speaker on “Physical therapy in the hospital”. It was included the procedure to physical therapy, service procedure, and case study of the patients who need the physical therapy.  The session was conducted online via Zoom at room AD1101, Architecture and Design building, Walailak University on May 1, 2020 at 10.00 am – 12.00 pm. for the students to understand the physical therapy procedure and still get the essential knowledge despite of the hospital visit. Students were enthusiastic having the session.

Innovation of Medical Informatics major would like to thank you Mr. Taweepol Saenpakdee, professional level physiotherapist at Thasala hospital for being the speaker for the first year IMI students. That made the teaching and learning goal accomplished as expected.
