“Migration” is now exhibited in “Art During COVID 19, The Pandemic”, by REBEL ART SPACE, Thailand collaborated CHARCOAL FOUNDATION – BONGORA, India

An artist statement is down below ..

“Migration, originally was a commissioned piece for “Walailak Journal of Social Science Vol.13 : Society, Health, and Border.” As I took the briefing, I saw the key message clearly on the concept of the journal.
About my inspiration, In June 2020, India announced to lift the lockdown measures. Even the numbers of infected were still increasing, the government had no choice but letting the economics get back on the track again so they could avoid the mass starvation and riots. People waves once again flooded back to the cities knowingly they were opened to the virus as they move.

I would like to depict the emotions of people who are and were having hardship in the pandemic. Even the contents of the journal focused in Asia area not particularly India. though, chose India as an inspiration solely. Because the mass of popularity was far more gigantic comparing to another countries. The hardship, the emotions, the sceneries could easily be seen in the picture.”
