Communication Arts, Walailak University, aims to create journalists in the digital age to go to the area for practical training

 

On 4 August 2020 the last, training students in Year 2 School of Information Sciences of Walailak University. Practical study visit the area to celebrate the celebration of the city’s pillar Nakhon Si Thammarat Province at Nakhon Si Thammarat City Pillar Shrine this is part of the news media and news writing course with Asst.Prof.Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh as the course lecturer.

 

Besides studying in the classroom Communication Arts courses focus on hands-on practice. Therefore encouraging students to enter the area keeping news writing information from various situations that occurred in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province for students to practice fully learn the first field trip of the news media and news writing courses, choose to visit the area in the celebration of the city pillar Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Students take on the role of reporters, think critiques, choose to interview participants to be used as information in writing news.

“Students go to the storage area and write news for the first time. Some of them may not have started yet and many of them adapt quickly is normal this time it takes students to try and come face to face real situations to practice observing looking for issues, data collection for the next time writing news in the classroom by actually doing, helping students understand the news writing process more easily and learn to work in the news field communication skills, confidence, good personality, the patience to be able to make news out completely” Asst.Prof.Dr. Fareeda Jeh-oh
