Ajarn Wittaya Horsap participated in the activity, ‘Hua Tong boat art, combining local ways’ in Krabi province.

      Wittaya Horsup is a lecturer from the Technology Multimedia Animation and Game program, School of Informatics, Walailak University. ‘The art of sailing boats connects local ways’ is a motion that governments and private individuals join in promoting Thai tourism. By organizing activities on track ‘Boat art Linking local ways’ in Krabi Province, The participating agencies include the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the private sector, state enterprises, hotels, tourism communities, travel agencies, and art teaching institutes. The above project is Krabi Province as a pilot province. By operating to create art on the boat, the symbol of tourism on the Andaman coast before expanding the activity area to other regions in the southern Andaman coast. The project aims to stimulate the number of more tourists in 2020 -2021.

      TAT Intelligence Center cooperates with the private sector to organize tourism activities, and this event is called ‘CEO, CSR FAM TRIP, safe tourism, environmentally conscious and social in Krabi Province.’ This event will be held between 19-20 September 2020. Using the symbol of the Andaman Sea Thailand Tourism is the Hua Thong Boat. It is expected to help bring tourism back to life from the COVID-19 crisis.

      In this regard, TAT will support the tourist boat’s repair and bring the artist to decorate the ship in a beautiful and safe condition. To keep tourists traveling to the community and also use the vessel as a medium to link knowledge through art to the ship Hua Tong. It is also aimed at solving the problems that arise with the artist group, which is another group that is affected, be it painters or photographers. And create happiness with ordinary people to see. TAT draws artists to share stories that show local identity through oil painting to make a beautiful picture of art on a ship. The merchant operators are also affected by COVID-19, when the number of tourists travels less and stores have no sales, resulting in insufficient income to spend. As a result, some stores had to close down or shut down indefinitely.
