Lecturer of the Information Technology presents the results of the seminar “Climate Downscaling and Climate Change Impact Application”

             On December 14, 2021, the Institute of Technology of Cambodia organized a seminar on Climate Downscaling and Climate Change Impact Application from 8.30 -14.40  by lecturer from the Information Technology department School of Informatics Walailak University is Ms.May Thu, presenting on the topic Power of AI: How Artificial Intelligence can tackle in climate downscaling.

          The seminar was organized to aims to develop a system to post-process, downscale, and archive the climate simulation data over Cambodia. The generated climate data from the system is very important for climate change impact studies that can provide up-to-date climate change information to the public, as well as decision-makers. Moreover, the climate data and software developed in the sub-project are going to be shared with relevant governmental agencies and partner institutions and continue supporting them on utilizing the output herein for policy development.
