The research work of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yunyong Punsawad and Mr. Charoenporn Bouyam on “Smart Wheelchair Control using Facial Movement” was featured in the Walailak Research & Innovation program.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yunyong Punsawad and Mr. Charoenporn Bouyam, faculty members of the Medical Information Innovation program, were featured in the Walailak Research & Innovation program for their research project on “Smart Wheelchair Control using Facial Movement.” Their research focuses on connecting humans with machinery for physically disabled individuals, emphasizing the integration of humans with computers or machinery through medical signal processing, such as using brain-computer interfaces to enhance the mobility of disabled individuals.

In this research project, the team received funding support from the Walailak University Research and Innovation Promotion Institute. Their work has resulted in the publication of one research article.
