The School of Informatics warmly welcomes Prof. Dr. Rahamatullah Khondoker and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Penirschke from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

On February 16th, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siriwat Kanpuk, acting Dean of the School of Informatics, along with Dr. Sasithorn Rattanarungroj, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, Dr. Channakorn Jandaeng, and Dr. Rujaras Nongratchat, extended a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Rahamatullah Khondoker and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Andreas Penirschke from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen, University of Applied Sciences, Germany.

During the morning session, the activity involved presentations about the School of Informatics and discussions on strategies for academic collaboration to facilitate knowledge exchange in the field of cybersecurity research. Dr. Channakorn Jandaeng presented research topics aimed at fostering mutual learning and exploring avenues for research collaboration between the two universities moving forward.

Following that, the School of Informatics proceeded to visit the Informatics Studio, the newly established information science laboratory building of the faculty. The visit was accompanied by Associate Prof. Dr. Chaowanan Khundam, Vice Dean, and Associate Prof. Dr. Peerawich Kwaed, Head of Research, Dr. Theerachai Saichoo, Head of Information Technology branch, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yanyong Pansawat, all of whom extended a warm welcome and guided the tour.

Within the Informatics Studio, there are various learning and practice facilities for students of the School of Informatics. These include:

1. Digital Medical Technology Laboratory: A room equipped for practical exercises in digital medical technology.
2. AI, Machine Learning, and IoT Laboratory: A facility dedicated to AI, machine learning, and Internet of Things experiments and projects.
3. Mac Studio: A fully equipped studio for Macintosh computers and multimedia tasks, including VR and AR development.
4. Content Creation Laboratory: A workspace designed for digital content production, catering to modern digital media needs.
5. Large-scale Multimedia Studio: A spacious studio equipped for television program production, sound editing, and other multimedia tasks.
