Information Technology major’s proudly presented showcase

Today we would like to present the project “Early warning water level system A Case Study of Nakhon Si Thammarat City Municipality”. It is developed by Mr. Nattapol Velubup and Mr. Apisist Sakulsongboonsiri, our graduates. This system is created to protect the risk of any damage from flood which may occur to the officers on duty and the flood victims. It responds to 2 user groups, the monitoring officer and the administrator.  The work process is to monitor the water level of the upstream sources in Nakhon Si Thammarat.  This project is the case study of Nakhon Si Thammarat City Municipality in order to project the people in case of emergency. There is the warning system with the light signal as a landmark. People can monitor the water level via website. Moreover, the system can generate the water level history report for tracking back in situation evaluation.

The flood monitoring system with water level detection sensors works on the Internet. It uses Ardruino to handle the data from sensors. The Raspberry Pi is used for data processing and send the value to the website.  This project is the prototype development. It can be continued for further development.

ITD major focuses on producing the graduate who has knowledge and ability to integrate the learned knowledge both in theory and practice.   The graduate would have morality and ethics.   This is to help solving the shortage of the country’s qualified IT professionals which is the basic for driving the raise of country’s economy, society and culture.   Do you love to have the great product like this?
