Learn about tools used in the Innovation of Medical Informatics.

Today we have a tool used in the teaching of the Innovation of Medical Informatics Program to offer you to get to know each other. The instrument name is Pulse rate sensor and circuit. It is a tool used in Pulse signal measurement.

The pulse is the signal generated by the heart. The pressure generated by the compression of the heart pushes the blood to flow to different parts of the body. This pressure causes the blood vessels to expand in a rhythm. We can handle this expansion at the touch of a hand in making the neck or by crook, the more we can feel the pulse signals using a medical device. The signal measurement is based on the principle of a pulse oximetry, using infrared and red light absorption by hemoglobin in the blood. For more details, follow the Facebook page : Innovation of Medical Informatics, Walailak University.
