Making merit

To make merit for the new building, Informatics Studio, the new laboratory building of the School of Informatics.

On March 11th,2024, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized a merit-making ceremony to commemorate the occasion of moving into the new laboratory building for Information Science, named ‘Informatics Studio.’ Assoc.Prof.Dr. Charun Bunyakan, Vice President; presided over the ceremony, along with Asst.Prof.Dr. Nichnan Kittiphattanabawon, Assistant to the President; Dr. Attanan Tachopisalwong, Director for Center for Cooperative Education and Career development; and Asst.Prof.Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics. The faculty’s management team, faculty members, and students participated in the ceremony together, aiming to foster auspiciousness and provide encouragement for the work of the personnel in the School of Informatics.

The Informatics Studio building is constructed to serve as a venue for teaching, learning, and practical training for students in all programs offered by the School of Informatics. These programs include five undergraduate programs: Digital Communication Arts, Interactive Multimedia Animation & Game, Digital Content and Media, Digital Technology in Medicine, and Intelligent Information Technology. The primary objective is to provide a real-world learning environment using cutting-edge technology, aiming to meet the demands of the digital industry in the future.
