A student majoring in Information Technology has won the Bronze award in the “Young Rising Stars of Science Award 2023”

The Science Society of Thailand under the Royal Patronage acknowledges the importance of developing new generations of scientists and technologists to advance the country’s research and innovation capabilities, essential for sustainable economic and social development. The society has thus established the “Young Rising Stars of Science” awards, consisting of three levels: Gold, Silver, and Bronze, presented to final-year undergraduate students majoring in Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) programs and related fields from universities nationwide. These awards recognize outstanding scientific and technological research projects (senior projects) each year. In 2023, the event marked its fourth edition, aimed not only at honoring these students but also inspiring interest in pursuing graduate studies. It is hoped that these students will become highly skilled scientists or technologists at the national or international level in the future.

In this event, the Information Technology program, School of Informatics, sent fourth-year students to present their work, and they received the Bronze level awards. The awardees are:

1) Mr. Thanayabut Phutthason
2) Miss Paveena Chaitong

The event took place from January 23rd to 25th, 2024, and presentations were conducted in English.
