Philosophy
The philosophy of the Communication Arts program is to enhance the capabilities of graduates to meet the demands of the media profession in the digital era, under the concept of “Creative Communication, Technological Literacy, and Social Responsibility.”
Objectives
- To produce graduates with knowledge and understanding, creative thinking, digital platform skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset in media that can meet the demands of the media industry.
- To produce graduates who are well-prepared to enter the professional world, with an emphasis on applying knowledge alongside practical experience. Graduates will be responsible communication professionals who adhere to ethical standards, such as the Code of Ethics for Media Professionals by the National Press Council of Thailand (2021), the Code of Ethics for Advertising Professionals (2023) by the Advertising Association of Thailand, and the Code of Ethics by the Thai Journalists Association (2009).
- To produce graduates whose potential aligns with the 20-year National Strategy (2018-2037), the 13th National Economic and Social Development Plan (2023-2027), and Walailak University’s 20-year strategy, focusing on developing graduates with competitive abilities in the creative economy of the media industry.
- To produce graduates who meet the four learning standards, including knowledge, skills, ethics, and personal characteristics, according to the Higher Education Qualifications Framework (2022).
