The School of Informatics, Walailak University, continues to strengthen its international academic networks and collaborations. Recently, Associate Professor Dr. Bukhoree Sahoh, a lecturer at the School of Informatics, was invited as a guest speaker to share his vision and expertise in technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) at two major international academic events.
The School of Informatics, Walailak University, proudly congratulates its students on being selected to participate in Summer Camp 2026 at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT), Republic of Uzbekistan.
April 22, 2026: The School of Informatics at Walailak University continued its student exchange program with Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT), Uzbekistan, into its second day. The activities focused on innovation for sustainability under the theme "Agentic AI for Green Campus." The program was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Chanankorn Jandaeng, a lecturer in the Intelligent Information Technology program, together with the International Affairs team.
April 21, 2026: The School of Informatics at Walailak University continues to drive internationalization by hosting an exchange program for students from Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TUIT), Uzbekistan. The first day focused on exchanging knowledge in information technology and modern innovation.
On March 30, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics at Walailak University, along with the school's executive team, faculty members, and Dr. Darunee Bunkrong, Assistant Dean for Chinese Strategic Graduate Studies and Educational Cooperation of the College of Graduate Studies, visited and held discussions with faculty members from universities and student recruitment agencies in the People's Republic of China.
March 16, 2026 – The School of Informatics, Walailak University warmly welcomed Prof. Claudia Maria Aymar, a distinguished faculty member from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, Germany. This visit marks a significant milestone in expanding academic and research collaborations, further driving the School toward continuous internationalization.

On October 2, 2025, the School of Informatics warmly welcomed Dr. Paul Lin, Secretary-General, and Dr. Tiger Tien, Dean of the Office of International Affairs from Hungkuang University, Taiwan. The visit aimed to discuss future academic collaboration opportunities 🤝.
From 18–22 August 2025, master’s students from the Master of Information Technology and Innovation (MITI) program at Walailak University participated in the International Inbound Programme at the Centre for Instructional Technology and Multimedia (PTPM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), under the theme “AI and VR Revolution in Learning.”
