History of the School Informatics Science Student Club
The Information Science Student Club was established in the academic year 2020 by a working group of students from the School of Information Science, specifically from the academic years 2018 and 2019.
- In 2020, the inaugural election for the Information Science Student Club was held. The club was created to represent the students in organizing student activities and to act as a liaison for planning activities that genuinely meet the needs of the student body.
- The School of Information Science recognizes the importance of student involvement in developing activities that enhance students’ qualities. Therefore, in collaboration with the 2019 student committee, a student leadership camp for the School of Information Science was organized. This camp aimed to boost students’ potential through participation in the student club’s activities, fostering teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and the expression of opinions to strengthen the school’s student activities.
Thus, the Information Science Student Club has been established since then.

AD 2021
- Student Relationship-Building Activities: Initiatives designed to strengthen connections and foster a sense of community among students in the School of Information Science.
- Volunteer Activities for Developing the Botanical Park: Volunteer efforts aimed at improving and maintaining the botanical park area.
- Info Friends: A specific activity or program intended to build friendships and enhance the social network among students in the School of Information Science.
AD 2022
- Welcome Freshmen Activities: Events designed to welcome and integrate new students into the School of Information Science.
- Information Science T-shirt Design Contest: A competition to design T-shirts related to Information Science.
- INFO Freshy Grand Award: An award event recognizing outstanding achievements among new students.
- INFO LOVE MOMMY – Kids Express Love to Their Mothers: An activity where children express their love and appreciation for their mothers.
- Beach Cleanup at Thasung Beach, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat: A volunteer activity focused on cleaning up the beach area.
- Internal Sports Day (INFO Sports Day & INFO After Party 2022): A sports event and after-party organized for students within the School of Information Science.
- Internal Sports Competition at the Paduk Games (Sky Demonstration): An internal sports competition held as part of the Paduk Games, featuring various athletic activities.
AD 2023
- Valentine’s Day Activity: “Don’t Retire Me” (Taking photos showing love with beloved professors during Valentine’s Week)
- University Founding Day Song Rehearsal: Practice sessions for singing on the occasion of the university’s founding anniversary.
- Walailak University Song Contest: A singing competition held in celebration of Walailak University’s anniversary.
- Student Relationship-Building Activities: Events designed to strengthen connections between junior and senior students in Information Science.
- Wednesday Afternoon at Walailak University: A networking event for students to connect and engage with each other.
- Teacher Appreciation Ceremony for the School of Information Science: A ceremony to honor and show respect to teachers.
- INFO Personality Grand Awards 2023: An awards event recognizing outstanding personalities within the School of Information Science.
- INFO Star Pride 2023: An event celebrating notable achievements and contributions of students in the School of Information Science.
- INFO Sports Day & After Party 2023: A sports event and after-party organized for students.
- Community Development Volunteer Activities: Community service projects at four locations: Masjid Ban Pai, Wat Club, Wat Thasung, and Thasung Beach.
- Leadership Development Camp: Organized by the 5th student committee of the Information Science Student Club.
- Internal Sports Competition at the Paduk Games (Sky Demonstration): An internal sports event featuring various athletic activities.
