The Information Management program at the School of Informatics congratulates Assistant Professor Dichitchai Metarikanon and Dr. Naparat Chookerd, faculty members of the Digital Content and Media program, on the acceptance of their research article titled “A Comparison of the Efficacy Between Game-Based Learning and Pamphlet on Enhancing Recognition of Common Cutaneous Malignancies in Thai Youth” for publication in the journal Contemporary Educational Technology, which is ranked in the Scopus Q1 percentile at 86%.
This research applies educational technology knowledge to solve medical problems by comparing the recognition of common skin cancers in Thai children using different educational media formats. The study uses game-based learning as a methodological approach.

The acceptance of this publication reflects the expertise and quality of the faculty in the program. Additionally, several other research works by faculty members are currently awaiting publication. The program hopes that their research will be applied to teaching and contribute to the improvement of Thai education.
