On Wednesday, April 9, 2025, the President of Walailak University presented a bouquet and a certificate of congratulations to a faculty member of the School of Informatics who has been appointed to an academic position in the field of Information Technology. The following names were honored:

Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornpon Thamrongrat
Lecturer in the Interactive Multimedia Animation and Game Program
Has been appointed to the position of “Assistant Professor” in the field of Information Technology.

On this significant occasion, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, would like to congratulate the faculty member on their recognition and achievement in their distinguished academic career. Walailak University’s School of Informatics Welcomes Dr. Ludovic Andres from the French Embassy in Thailand

On May 14, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Ludovic Andres, a representative from the French Embassy in Thailand, on the occasion of his visit to the Informatics Studio – the school’s state-of-the-art academic and digital innovation facility. In the morning, Dr. Andres paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on strengthening academic cooperation between Thailand and France, with a focus on promoting education, developing digital skills, facilitating student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint research in the future.
