The School of Informatics, Walailak University, extends its warmest congratulations to Asst. Prof. Dr. Kanitsorn Suriyapaiboonwattana, Lecturer in the Digital Content and Media program and Deputy Director of the Center for Library and Educational Media, on being awarded the prestigious Erasmus+ KA171 (Staff Mobility for Teaching) grant supported by the European Union.

Under this scholarship, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khanitsorn will serve as a Guest Lecturer at the Faculty of Design Computer Science Media, Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Wiesbaden, Germany, from November 1 to 16, 2026. This visit highlights the ongoing academic collaboration and strong partnership between Walailak University and Hochschule RheinMain.

During this academic exchange, Asst. Prof. Dr. Khanitsorn will deliver lectures and share insights with graduate students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Screen Arts (M.A.) program across three cutting-edge topics:

  • Digital Media Processing & Technology

  • Python-based Media Workflow

  • AI for Digital Media

This achievement marks a significant milestone that highlights the academic excellence and global competitiveness of Walailak University’s faculty members. In addition to strengthening international ties, this collaborative initiative will bring valuable pedagogical perspectives and technological insights back to enhance curriculum development, student learning, and research innovation in digital media.
