On February 13, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics at Walailak University, led the executive team, faculty, researchers, staff, and students in welcoming the Senate Committee on Education, Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation. The delegation was led by Mr. Amornsak Kitthananan, Vice Chairman of the Committee, during their visit to observe outstanding research at the Informatics Studio.

On 3 February 2026, the executive team of the School of Informatics, Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics, together with the management team comprising Associate Professor Dr. Chaowanan Khundam and Assistant Professor Dr. Pornpon Thamrongrat, Associate Deans of the School of Informatics, as well as Mr. Kampanat Surangpak, Graduate Studies Project Officer of the Artificial Intelligence and Digital Media Innovation Program, paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Mongkol Teerananond, Vice President for International Relations and University Development, at the Wichit Srisa-an Building, Walailak University.

On January 31, 2026, Walailak University administrators and representatives, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Padungsak Suksa-Ard, Vice President for Cooperative Education and General Administration, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornpon Thamrongrat, Associate Dean of the School of Informatics, the Acting Head of the Internal Audit Unit, and the university's internal auditors, attended the 100-Day Merit-Making Ceremony (Satamawara).

On Wednesday, January 28, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics, along with the school’s executive team, participated in an educational management knowledge exchange with the executive team from the School of Engineering and Technology at Walailak University. The team received a warm welcome from Assistant Professor Dr. Monthian Setkit, Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, and his colleagues

The School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized a knowledge-sharing activity entitled “Move Right, Eat Smart: Exercise Techniques to Reduce Office Syndrome and Nutrition for a Better Quality of Life” for staff of the School of Informatics for the academic year 2026. The activity aimed to promote physical and mental well-being in the workplace, while also fostering positive relationships and effective collaboration within the organization.

On 28 December 2025, the School of Informatics organized a merit-making food offering (Rong Than) activity at Wat Tha Lat, Tha Khuen Subdistrict, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, as part of the ceremonial worship honoring the royal spirits of King Taksin the Great, Chao Chom Manda Prang, and the brave warriors.

On 25 December 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, led by its staff members and the Student Club of the School of Information Science, participated in the “Haitanfai” merit-making activity, a long-established traditional practice. The event was held at the Dhamma Courtyard, Chor Pradu Food Center, Walailak University.

On December 18, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Wichitpan Rongwong, Director of the Research and Innovation Institute of Excellence, attended a consultative meeting with the Research Committee of the School of Informatics. The meeting aimed to collaboratively plan and establish guidelines for strengthening the School’s research initiatives, ensuring alignment with the University’s research development policies and striving toward sustainable academic excellence.

The School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized a seminar on "Strategies and Guidelines for the Development of the School of Informatics, 2026" from November 5–7, 2025, at Laguna Grand Hotel & Spa, Songkhla Province. The Dean, Associate Deans, faculty members, and staff of the School all participated in the activity.
