👨‍🏫 Content Writing Workshop for News by a Mass Media Professional
👉 On January 17, 2025, the Digital Content and Media program organized a workshop on the topic of “News Content Writing” for second-year students. The session was honored to feature Mr. Thanakorn Siriphon, a mass media professional from the Public Relations Office in Surat Thani, who is also an alumnus of the program.

🧾 This workshop focused on enhancing students’ skills in news writing, including content analysis, news structure organization, and the use of concise and clear language. Students received valuable advice and essential tips for creating engaging and modern news content. Additionally, there were hands-on activities that allowed participants to practice writing news based on real-life situations.

With over 700 registered participants from around the world, the seminar fostered international academic collaboration and highlighted the growing role of AI in global education.

Walailak University’s School of Informatics Welcomes Dr. Ludovic Andres from the French Embassy in Thailand

On May 14, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Ludovic Andres, a representative from the French Embassy in Thailand, on the occasion of his visit to the Informatics Studio – the school’s state-of-the-art academic and digital innovation facility. In the morning, Dr. Andres paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on strengthening academic cooperation between Thailand and France, with a focus on promoting education, developing digital skills, facilitating student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint research in the future.
