INFO-App!! The Application for Informatics Community

On August 30, 2024, staff from the School of Informatics participated in the WU Innovation 2024 event, showcasing their innovative project, INFO-App. This application was developed to facilitate access to information and streamline various management tasks within the department.

INFO-App is designed as a central hub of essential information. Through the app, users can easily access important announcements, view budget information, monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and check the percentage of Doms read. Additionally, it includes links to related websites for easier access to further information.

The presentation of INFO-App garnered significant interest from attendees, as the application enhances work efficiency and communication within the organization. It stands as a testament to the capabilities of the School of Informatics staff in developing innovations that truly meet the needs of their department.

WU Innovation 2024 provides a platform for various departments to present innovations and projects aimed at solving different challenges. The participation of the School of Informatics in this event marks a significant step in showcasing their potential and creativity in the field of information technology at Walailak University.

Walailak University’s School of Informatics Welcomes Dr. Ludovic Andres from the French Embassy in Thailand

On May 14, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Ludovic Andres, a representative from the French Embassy in Thailand, on the occasion of his visit to the Informatics Studio – the school’s state-of-the-art academic and digital innovation facility. In the morning, Dr. Andres paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on strengthening academic cooperation between Thailand and France, with a focus on promoting education, developing digital skills, facilitating student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint research in the future.
