Walailak University, – From September 10-11, 2025, the School of Informatics at Walailak University extended a warm welcome to Prof. Dr. Marc Stöttinger, a distinguished professor from RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Germany. His visit represents a significant opportunity to expand academic and research collaborations, further advancing the school’s internationalization goals.

During his two-day visit, Prof. Dr. Stöttinger engaged in discussions with faculty members from the School of Informatics on several key topics. These included the development of short-course programs, student exchange initiatives, and the exchange of pedagogical perspectives for both undergraduate and graduate (Master’s and Ph.D.) levels. Furthermore, both parties exchanged research insights with the aim of jointly developing and extending international-level academic work.

Prof. Dr. Stöttinger is an expert in Embedded Hardware Cyber Security, with extensive experience in both industry and academia, currently serving as a professor at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences.

This collaboration is expected to not only enhance the school’s academic and research capabilities but also to provide students and staff with new perspectives and experiences from a leading international institution. It will play a crucial role in elevating the educational quality of Walailak University to meet international standards.
