School of Informatics Holds Merit-Making Ceremony for “Informatics Studio” Building to Bless and Inspire Academic Success

On July 7, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized a merit-making ceremony for the Informatics Studio, the faculty’s key practice-based learning building. The event aimed to bless the space, bring auspiciousness to staff and students, and inspire a positive atmosphere filled with prosperity, harmony, and success in every step of academic and professional growth.

The ceremony was attended by school executives, faculty members, staff, and students who gathered at the ground floor of the Informatics Studio. Buddhist monks were invited to chant sacred prayers and receive alms, creating a serene and spiritually uplifting environment. This traditional Thai merit-making ritual reflects the school’s commitment to supporting the well-being and spiritual strength of its academic community.

The Informatics Studio serves as a crucial space for hands-on learning and creative development for students in various programs under the School of Informatics. The facility supports practical activities such as digital media production, video editing, multimedia design, sound recording, broadcasting, and other creative work. It is designed to foster modern learning experiences that prepare students for professional careers in the digital age.
