School of Informatics Participates in the Preservation of Thai Traditions through a Merit-Making Food Offering Activity at Wat Tha Lat

On 28 December 2025, the School of Informatics organized a merit-making food offering (Rong Than) activity at Wat Tha Lat, Tha Khuen Subdistrict, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, as part of the ceremonial worship honoring the royal spirits of King Taksin the Great, Chao Chom Manda Prang, and the brave warriors.

This activity was held to express gratitude and reverence in remembrance of their great contributions, while also promoting the values of generosity and sharing in accordance with Buddhist principles. The event received active participation from staff members, students, and devoted contributors, reflecting strong cooperation and unity among all participants.

The food offering activity involved the preparation and distribution of food, beverages, and essential items to the general public without discrimination. This act of merit-making represents compassion, public-mindedness, and social responsibility, and contributes to strengthening unity and positive awareness within the community.
