The School of Informatics, Walailak University, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Asst.Prof.Tanaporn Charoenthansakul, a faculty member of the Digital Communication Arts program, who was selected as one of the 20 projects to be presented in the form of an Oral Presentation and was honored with the prestigious award TOP 10 SDG PROJECTS 2025 at the WU SDG Day, organized by the Center for Academic Services, Walailak University.
The awarded project, titled
“Promoting Lifelong Learning and Developing Storytelling Skills of Tha Sala Community’s Local Culture to Foster Tourism and Community Way of Life,”
aims to enhance local cultural knowledge and storytelling skills, contributing to sustainable tourism and community development.
The WU SDG Day was held on September 18, 2025, at Hua Taphan Conference Room, Walailak University Medical Center Hospital. The event highlighted projects and initiatives aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reinforcing the university’s commitment to promoting social responsibility and sustainable development.
