School of Informatics, Walailak University Participates in “Curriculum Fair” at Prince of Songkla University

The School of Informatics, Walailak University, took part in the “Curriculum Fair” organized by Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, held from 7–8 August 2025 at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center. The School’s booth welcomed a large number of visitors throughout the event.

During the exhibition, the School of Informatics showcased academic programs from its five disciplines:

  • Digital Technology in Medicine (DTM)

  • Intelligent Information Technology (IIT)

  • Interactive Multimedia Animation and Game (IMAG)

  • Digital Communication Arts (COMM ARTS)

  • Digital Content and Media (DCM)

The “INFO RANGER” team, representing the School’s students, warmly greeted visitors, providing detailed program information and guidance, as well as sharing learning experiences in a friendly and engaging atmosphere.

For prospective students interested in enrolling for the Academic Year 2026, the School of Informatics will open its first admission round (Portfolio) on 9 September 2025. More information can be found at entry.wu.ac.th.

On February 13, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics at Walailak University, led the executive team, faculty, researchers, staff, and students in welcoming the Senate Committee on Education, Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation. The delegation was led by Mr. Amornsak Kitthananan, Vice Chairman of the Committee, during their visit to observe outstanding research at the Informatics Studio.

On January 31, 2026, Walailak University administrators and representatives, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Padungsak Suksa-Ard, Vice President for Cooperative Education and General Administration, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pornpon Thamrongrat, Associate Dean of the School of Informatics, the Acting Head of the Internal Audit Unit, and the university's internal auditors, attended the 100-Day Merit-Making Ceremony (Satamawara).

The School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized a knowledge-sharing activity entitled “Move Right, Eat Smart: Exercise Techniques to Reduce Office Syndrome and Nutrition for a Better Quality of Life” for staff of the School of Informatics for the academic year 2026. The activity aimed to promote physical and mental well-being in the workplace, while also fostering positive relationships and effective collaboration within the organization.
