The ceremony for presenting operational shirts to the 5th cohort of IMI’s Medical Information Technology Innovation program took place on June 19th. This event was organized by the School of Informatics to honor second-year students of IMI, showcasing their academic progress and serving as motivation for their continued dedication to their studies.

This ceremony not only involved the distribution of operational shirts but also included participation from faculty members and administrators to celebrate the students’ achievements and acknowledge their hard work in their educational journey.

Typically, such ceremonies include the presentation of operational shirts designed to represent the students’ identity within IMI’s Medical Information Technology Innovation program. It also provides an opportunity for students to take photos with faculty members and administrators, recognizing the program’s contributions and the experiences gained.

Walailak University’s School of Informatics Welcomes Dr. Ludovic Andres from the French Embassy in Thailand

On May 14, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Ludovic Andres, a representative from the French Embassy in Thailand, on the occasion of his visit to the Informatics Studio – the school’s state-of-the-art academic and digital innovation facility. In the morning, Dr. Andres paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on strengthening academic cooperation between Thailand and France, with a focus on promoting education, developing digital skills, facilitating student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint research in the future.
