The “ITD to IIT” activity in the Smart Information Technology program fosters relationships between junior and senior students, focusing on knowledge and experience exchange in various information technology and innovation fields.

On June 8, 2024, the Smart Information Technology program at the School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized the “ITD to IIT” networking event at the Informatics laboratory building. Faculty members and students from both junior and senior levels participated in this event.

The objective of the event was to foster strong relationships among new and current students in the program, as well as to inspire learning and self-development in the field of Smart Information Technology. The event featured various activities such as networking sessions, ice-breaking games, and a “Big Brother Tech” lottery. The atmosphere was filled with smiles, laughter, enjoyment, and genuine interactions.

This event is held annually and undergoes continuous improvement to align with the students’ needs and interests, ensuring maximum benefit and leaving a positive impression on the students in the program.

On February 13, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics at Walailak University, led the executive team, faculty, researchers, staff, and students in welcoming the Senate Committee on Education, Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.
