The School of Informatics explored the course fair at Mahidol University to promote the recruitment of new students for TCAS’68.

The School of Informatics at Walailak University made a dynamic impact at the Course Fair organized by Prince of Songkla University on August 8-9, 2024, held at the Chalermprakiat Building, International Conference Center. The booth attracted a large number of visitors interested in learning more about the school’s programs.

At the event, INFO RANGERS from the School of Informatics presented information about several exciting programs, including:

– **Digital Technology in Medicine (DTM)**
– **Intelligent Information Technology (IIT)**
– **Interactive Multimedia Animation and Games (IMAG)**
– **Digital Communication Arts (COMM ARTS)**
– **Digital Content and Media (DCM)**

This allowed attendees to gain a closer understanding of the unique features of each program.

The School of Informatics, Walailak University, hosted the 4th international seminar “INFOCON 2025” under the theme “AI in Higher Education” via Zoom. The event featured experts from Thailand, Malaysia, and the UK who shared insights on integrating AI into higher education. With over 700 registered participants from around the world, the seminar fostered international academic collaboration and highlighted the growing role of AI in global education.

Walailak University’s School of Informatics Welcomes Dr. Ludovic Andres from the French Embassy in Thailand

On May 14, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Ludovic Andres, a representative from the French Embassy in Thailand, on the occasion of his visit to the Informatics Studio – the school’s state-of-the-art academic and digital innovation facility. In the morning, Dr. Andres paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on strengthening academic cooperation between Thailand and France, with a focus on promoting education, developing digital skills, facilitating student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint research in the future.
