The School of Informatics organized an orientation event to welcome new students into the #เด็กLikeสาระ family on June 1, 2024. Assistant Professor Dr. Siriwatna Kaewphanuek, representing the dean, along with faculty members, staff, and the student club team from the School of Informatics, warmly welcomed the new students. The atmosphere was lively and engaging, reflecting the style of Informatics students.

This year, the School of Informatics admitted over 300 first-year students through three rounds of selection. All faculty and staff are committed to nurturing these students, ensuring they excel academically and gain practical expertise to thrive in the digital industry job market.

On February 13, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics at Walailak University, led the executive team, faculty, researchers, staff, and students in welcoming the Senate Committee on Education, Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.
