On 24 December 2025, prior to the 9/2025 Executive Meeting of Walailak University, held at Moklan Room, 3rd Floor, Professor Dr. Wichit Srisa-an Building, Walailak University,
Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, presented flower bouquets to staff members and students of the School of Informatics in recognition of their outstanding achievements, which have brought honor and pride to the University at both national and international levels.

Second-year students from the Digital Content and Media Program, School of Informatics, namely Aummrun Boekban, Akkarapong Pongwat, and Parich Chonlatan, received the First Runner-up Award at a national academic conference for their paper entitled “Keyword Analysis in Health Product Advertising by Influencers on Live Commerce Using Topic Modeling Techniques.” The award was presented at the 3rd National Academic Conference, organized by the Library Association of Thailand.

Assistant Professor Dr. Kannattha Chaisriya, as a co-researcher of the Blue Swimming Crab Research Project at Walailak University, received the NRCT Award 2025 in the category of research and innovation addressing national priorities. The award was presented on the occasion of the 66th Anniversary of the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT).

Nattacha Silakun, as a co-researcher, received the Outstanding Oral Presentation Award for the research project entitled “Development of a Learning Program for the Twelve Nora Dance Postures Using Motion Capture Sensor Technology.” The award was presented at the *12th Academic Conference and Exhibition: “Thai Resources: Re-examining Our Heritage,” organized by the Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal Initiative (RSPG) in collaboration with Maejo University.

In addition, Associate Professor Dr. Chaowanan Khundam, a lecturer in the Interactive Multimedia, Animation, and Game Program, received a congratulatory flower bouquet from the President of Walailak University on the occasion of being awarded the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) Senior Fellow certification.
