Message From The Dean

The School of Information Science at Walailak University was established with the objective of producing and developing personnel in information technology and related fields to enhance the country’s competitiveness on a global scale. With the vision of becoming a leader in digital innovation in ASEAN, over the past 20 years, thousands of graduates and postgraduates have become crucial forces in national development.

Currently, the school offers five undergraduate programs:

1. Bachelor of Science in Medical Digital Technology

2. Bachelor of Science in Intelligent Information Technology

3. Bachelor of Science in Interactive Multimedia, Animation, and Game

4. Bachelor of Communication Arts in Digital Communication

5. Bachelor of Information Science in Digital Content and Media

At the graduate level, the school offers two programs: Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Innovation Management and Information Technology (International Program). All programs are continuously updated to ensure they meet the rapidly changing demands of the digital technology job market.

In addition to modern curricula, the school emphasizes practical learning skills. It has developed the INFO Studio Lab to be as advanced as industry settings, preparing students for careers in the digital industry. Moreover, it includes two consecutive semesters of cooperative education to ensure that graduates from the School of Information Science will be key contributors to national development, meeting the needs of Thailand’s digital industry and advancing towards Thailand 4.0.
