On June 28th, third-year students from the Digital Technology in Medicine program at Walailak University participated in a volunteer beach cleanup at Sirinat National Park in Mai Khao, Phuket Province. This activity was part of their practical training supported and supervised by faculty advisors and program staff.
During this event, students joined the local community in collecting hard-to-reach beach litter, including plastics and other environmentally hazardous materials. This initiative not only helped clean up the environment but also enhanced students’ health and environmental responsibility within the DTM program.
Moreover, the activity provided a great opportunity to build networks and relationships with the local community, with friends and family of the students fully participating in the event.
