School of Informatics, Walailak University Holds Graduate Scholarship Award Ceremony to Enhance Educational Opportunities and Collaboration with the Private Sector

On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, hosted a graduate scholarship award ceremony. The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Mongkol Theerananon, Vice President for University Relations and Development, who presided over the event. He was joined by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaowanan Khundam, Vice Dean and Chair of the Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Digital Media Innovation, along with faculty members, staff, and master’s and doctoral students who attended the ceremony.

On this occasion, the School was honored by Ms. Pongpimon Picharnsan, Managing Director, and Ms. Julia Anantaya Kelly from NVS Medical Solutions Co., Ltd., as well as Ms. Naruemon Chaichana, President of New Shine Group Co., Ltd., who jointly presented scholarships totaling 200,000 baht to support education and enhance the potential of graduate students.

During the ceremony, university executives delivered a welcoming remark and introduced an overview of Walailak University via a video presentation, while also presenting the curriculum and teaching approaches of the School of Informatics to build understanding and confidence in the institution’s potential. Furthermore, there was a discussion and exchange of ideas regarding guidelines for building collaboration between the university and the private sector in terms of academics, curriculum development, and future human resource development. This will lead to elevating educational quality and producing a workforce that sustainably meets the needs of the industry.
