School of Informatics Celebrates Walailak University’s 34th Anniversary, Honoring Distinguished Personnel and Alumni

On March 27, 2026, the faculty and staff of the School of Informatics, Walailak University, participated in the commemorative ceremony marking the 34th Anniversary of Walailak University’s Foundation (March 29). The event was held to celebrate over three decades of academic excellence and institutional pride.

The anniversary featured several merit-making and honorary ceremonies, including:

  • Almsgiving and Religious Ceremonies to bestow blessings upon the university community.

  • The Royal Decoration Presentation Ceremony (Below the Sovereign Level).

  • Service Excellence Awards for personnel with 25 and 30 years of dedicated service.

  • The Outstanding Alumni Award Ceremony to honor those who have achieved significant professional success and brought prestige to the university.

Congratulations to Our Award Recipients

On this auspicious occasion, the School of Informatics is proud to congratulate our distinguished faculty and alumni:

  1. Asst. Prof. Jongsuk Kongsen – Honored for 30 years of continuous service.

  2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Jakrin Wikaew – Honored for 25 years of continuous service and recipient of a Royal Decoration.

  3. Asst. Prof. Dr. Pongsakorn Pichayadon (Alumnus, Information Management Program) – Recipient of the 2025 Walailak University Outstanding Alumni Award (Career Achievement Category).
