The Concept and the Definition of Faith

The “Changsuk Mahathat” collection draws inspiration from the “Thai War Elephant” (Changsuk)—a symbol of Thai courage and pride—blended with beliefs in the powers of the 5 natural elements: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, and Sky. This concept is brought to life through war elephant warriors adorned in intricate fantasy Thai armor. Every detail, from the patterns on the helmets, armor, and belts to the lower torso cloth, has been meticulously crafted to perfectly reflect each element’s identity.

The artwork interprets “Sacredness” as the power of faith, respect, and mental value, representing positive energy, hope, and adherence to goodness. Meanwhile, “Secret Power” (Khlang) is reflected through the linework of the armor, traditional Thai patterns, and a majestic, awe-inspiring atmosphere. Each elephant variation acts as a “Guardian of Faith and a Medium of Natural Elements,” bestowing blessings such as success, loving-kindness, opportunity, and stability upon its owners.
