The School of Informatics, Walailak University, participated in the "Curriculum/Course Fair" organized by Nakhon Phanom University from August 7–8, 2025.
On September 8, 2025, the School of Informatics at Walailak University warmly welcomed faculty and exchange students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, majoring in Informatics Education, at the University of Trunojoyo Madura in Indonesia. This visit marks another significant step in fostering academic ties and collaboration between the two institutions, opening the door for international knowledge and cultural exchange.
The School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized a series of educational guidance activities to promote student admissions for the academic year 2026 (TCAS’69) during 11–24 August 2025. Faculty members, academic staff, and the Admissions and Public Relations team visited high schools across Northeastern Thailand to provide academic guidance and admission information.
The School of Informatics, Walailak University, took part in the “Curriculum Fair” organized by Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, held from 7–8 August 2025 at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center. The School’s booth welcomed a large number of visitors throughout the event.
On Wednesday, August 5, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized a TCAS’69 higher education guidance activity at Khuandonwittaya School, Satun Province. The delegation was led by academic staff member Mr. Habib, a well-known representative of the School, along with the Public Relations and Student Admissions teams, as well as student representatives. They traveled to provide valuable information and guidance to local students.
On Wednesday, August 5, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, organized a guidance activity for further education through the TCAS’69 system at Thung Wao Worawit School, Satun Province. The delegation consisted of academic officers, public relations staff, student admissions officers, and student representatives from the School, who traveled to provide information and inspire local high school students.
The School of Informatics, Walailak University, proudly participated in the Curriculum Market Fair hosted at Ubon Ratchathani University on July 3–4, 2025, held at the 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building. The event drew an enthusiastic crowd of high school students eager to learn more about academic programs and future study options.
The School of Informatics, Walailak University has launched a music video titled “Kham Tak (Warning)”, as part of the subproject “Creative Development of Local Cultural Capital through Digital Storytelling”, under the main project “Management of Belief-Based Cultural Capital around Ancient Sand Dunes to Enhance the Local Economy in Sichon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.” The main project is led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siwarit Phongsakornrungslip, Vice President of Walailak University, with the subproject managed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Fareeda Je-Aoh and Dr. Naparat Chookerd, lecturers from the School of Informatics.
