Walailak University continues to promote higher education opportunities through its “Senior-to-Junior Guidance” initiative, encouraging current students to share their university experiences and provide educational guidance to prospective students.

On 29 October 2025, Mr. Klakawin Boonrin, a student in the Digital Content and Media Programme, School of Informatics, Walailak University, represented the University at an educational guidance activity held at Satreesiriket School in Sisaket Province, Thailand.

.

During the activity, he introduced Walailak University and provided an overview of its academic opportunities. He also presented the School of Informatics and its academic programmes, helping students gain a better understanding of higher education pathways and opportunities to develop digital skills at the university level.

The initiative highlights the important role of university students in sharing first-hand experiences and inspiring younger generations. Through peer-to-peer guidance, high school students can gain valuable insights into university life and make more informed decisions about their future education.

On September 16, 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics, Walailak University, accompanied by Dr. Attanan Tachopisalwong, Director of the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development, along with faculty members and staff, visited Hungkuang University in Taiwan. The mission aimed to strengthen academic partnerships and advance international cooperative education initiatives. The delegation received a warm welcome from Dr. Paul Lin, Secretary-General, and Dr. Tiger Tien, Dean of the Office of International Affairs, alongside faculty and staff members.
