Field Trip on Technology: Intelligent Information Technology Students Visit Bangkok

On August 1, 2024, third-year students from the Intelligent Information Technology (IIT) program visited Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Future Tales Lab by MQDC in Bangkok. This trip aimed to enhance their knowledge and experience in technology and innovation. At Huawei, students learned about advanced product development, while at Future Tales Lab, they explored innovative future-building concepts through research and development.

On August 2, 2024, the students continued their field trip with visits to Krungthai Bank Public Company Limited (Head Office) and Brubric Vulcan Co., Ltd. in Bangkok. They gained insights into modern financial technologies and IT management in the business sector.

These visits provided valuable experiences and broadened the students’ academic and practical understanding of the technology and innovation fields, preparing them for their future careers in intelligent information technology.

Walailak University’s School of Informatics Welcomes Dr. Ludovic Andres from the French Embassy in Thailand

On May 14, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Ludovic Andres, a representative from the French Embassy in Thailand, on the occasion of his visit to the Informatics Studio – the school’s state-of-the-art academic and digital innovation facility. In the morning, Dr. Andres paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on strengthening academic cooperation between Thailand and France, with a focus on promoting education, developing digital skills, facilitating student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint research in the future.
