School of Informatics Organizes Farewell Event for Dr. Satjaree Sirichai on the Occasion of Her Retirement in 2014

“A Hundred Loves, United Hearts, Weaving Bonds of Affection”

On September 13, the School of Informatics at Walailak University organized a heartfelt farewell event for Dr. Satjaree Sirichai on the occasion of her retirement in 2014.

The atmosphere at the event was filled with warmth and camaraderie. Photos and video clips showcasing fond memories from the past were played, bringing smiles and tears of nostalgia to many attendees. This was followed by a video presentation expressing overwhelming love and respect for Dr. Satjaree. Everyone had the chance to sing together, enjoying a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and joy. Some songs even prompted people to get up and dance or wave along to the rhythm. The room was filled with a sense of celebration, making hearts swell with happiness.

Toward the end of the event, small but meaningful gifts were presented as tokens of love and cherished memories, which we wished to offer to Dr. Satjaree. Everyone gathered for a group photo amidst laughter and smiles, with cameras capturing this special moment. It was a beautiful and unforgettable memory that will remain in the hearts of everyone forever. We all send our best wishes to Dr. Satjaree, wishing her health, safety, and immense happiness always, from all of us at the School of Informatics!

Walailak University’s School of Informatics Welcomes Dr. Ludovic Andres from the French Embassy in Thailand

On May 14, 2025, the School of Informatics, Walailak University, had the honor of welcoming Dr. Ludovic Andres, a representative from the French Embassy in Thailand, on the occasion of his visit to the Informatics Studio – the school’s state-of-the-art academic and digital innovation facility. In the morning, Dr. Andres paid a courtesy visit to Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University. During the meeting, both parties exchanged ideas on strengthening academic cooperation between Thailand and France, with a focus on promoting education, developing digital skills, facilitating student exchange programs, and exploring opportunities for joint research in the future.
