IMAG program organized a knowledge-sharing seminar to prepare students for careers in the 3D industry.

On September 11, 2024, the Interactive Multimedia Animation and Game (IMAG) program of the Faculty of Information Science, organized a seminar titled “IMAG Talks” under the theme of 3D Assets. The event featured guest speakers who were alumni, including Mr. Supachai Itmuang, Mr. Phanuwichpong Pariyawatee, and Mr. Teerayut Panmuang, all 3D Assets Artists from Bohemia Interactive Pattaya. They shared their knowledge and real-world experiences working in the 3D industry, providing valuable insights to attendees aspiring to become “3D Assets Artists.”

Throughout the seminar, there was a discussion about Bohemia Interactive, a company well-known for developing the popular game DayZ. The speakers also provided technical knowledge related to working in this field. Participants gained academic insights, an understanding of the working process at the company, how to prepare for a career in the industry, the essential skills needed, as well as information on internship opportunities at Bohemia Interactive.

Towards the end of the event, a Q&A session was held, allowing attendees to submit their questions. The event organizers selected a range of questions for the speakers to answer, fostering engagement and deepening the participants’ understanding of the 3D industry.
