On August 19, 2025, second-year students from the Digital Content and Media program, School of Informatics, Walailak University, advanced to the final round of the EDC Pitching Season 3. The competition, organized by the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, took place at SCBX NEXT TECH, Siam Paragon, Bangkok, under the theme “Digital Space Connect: Linking Learning Spaces to Develop Digital Citizens.”

The results were as follows:

  • Team “Lilly Yu Ja Bang Phi Thammai?” won the first prize with a scholarship of 50,000 THB. Team members included Mr. Phuthanet Sisaeng, Ms. Jirawan Wichianrat, and Ms. Marisa Chairoek, who developed the campaign “ONMII”—an application for the visually impaired, featuring automatic voice alerts, safety notifications, chatbot support, and interactive lessons to close the digital accessibility gap.

  • Team APB secured the second runner-up prize with a scholarship of 15,000 THB. Members included Ms. Chinanan Srithaikaew, Ms. Viranpat Preechachote, and Ms. Pattarawadee Yingburoos, with the campaign “B-Life: Balance Your Life, Change Your Future!”—an application designed for digital-age workers to reduce screen addiction and office syndrome through gamification, daily missions, and an online community.

.

Both teams were mentored and guided by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Mr. Mathat Inthongpan, and Mr. Pichai Klayprayun.

.

This year, the EDC Pitching Season 3 attracted more than 50 teams nationwide, with only 10 finalists making it through. The event provided students with opportunities to refine their creativity, develop impactful public campaigns, and design innovative approaches to safely and effectively connect online learning spaces while contributing positively to society.

.

The competition focused on three main challenges:

  1. Stronger Community Against Digital Abuse

  2. Digital Communication Booster

  3. Healthy Digital Life Balance

.

The School of Informatics is proud of the dedication of its two student teams and extends sincere thanks to ETDA and all partners for providing this platform. Appreciation is also given to the academic advisors and all supporters whose contributions helped transform student ideas into practical solutions, paving the way for the development of quality digital citizens in Thailand.
