School of Informatics Hosts Academic Promotion Workshop for Support Staff

On June 16, 2026, the School of Informatics at Walailak University organized a specialized workshop designed to enhance knowledge and understanding regarding academic promotion and professional advancement for operational and support staff. The school was honored to have Mr. Jaruek Promklee, a Senior General Administration Officer from the School of Medicine, serve as the keynote speaker to share his valuable expertise, experiences, and practical guidelines.

The workshop was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics, alongside Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chaowanan Khundam, Associate Dean, who directly oversees the school’s support staff operations. Both executives actively participated in the session and engaged in discussions to establish effective pathways for supporting staff career progression.

The primary objective of this workshop was to clarify the criteria, guidelines, procedures, and essential techniques for applying for senior-level positions. It also highlighted best practices and critical precautions to consider when preparing portfolios, documents, and evaluation evidence.
