School of Informatics at Walailak University warmly welcomed parents of new students for the 2026 academic year, aiming to strengthen collaboration in holistic student support toward international standards.

On May 6, 2026, at Walailak University, the School of Informatics organized the “Parents Meeting 2026” event to welcome and prepare the 29th generation of new students for their official journey into university life. The atmosphere was warm and lively, led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Siriwatchana Kaeophanuek, Dean of the School of Informatics, together with administrators, lecturers, academic staff, and the School of Informatics Student Club.

Representatives from all five academic programs participated in the event, including Digital Technology in Medicine (DTM), Intelligent Information Technology (IIT), Interactive Multimedia Animation and Game (IMAG), Digital Communication Arts (COMM ARTS), and Digital Content and Media (DCM). They provided parents with essential information and guidance regarding academic programs and student development.

The school introduced its teaching and learning approaches, including classroom learning, practical training, and professional skills development, helping parents better understand the educational journey and future career opportunities for students in the digital era. In addition, the CES Smart Tracking system from the Educational Services Center was presented, allowing parents to monitor students’ academic progress and status online. This reflects the school’s commitment to enhancing educational standards under the concept of “Power of Imagination, Creative, Innovation, and Intelligence.”

Beyond academics, the school also places strong emphasis on student well-being and quality of life through its student support and empowerment system. This includes mental health support in collaboration with the Smile & Smart Center and Rakjai Clinic, scholarship opportunities, and accident insurance coverage throughout students’ academic journey, ensuring that students can grow to become “competent, virtuous, and happy.”

Another key highlight of the event was the “Good Graduate Passport,” a graduation requirement that encourages students to participate in activities and accumulate merit points in areas such as gratitude, discipline, volunteerism, and leadership. This initiative aims to cultivate graduates who possess both professional expertise and strong moral values.
