Sichon District, located in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, Thailand, is a treasure trove of historical narratives and cultural heritage dating back to the 19th century. The area is influenced by a rich mix of religious traditions, including Buddhism, Hinduism, and Chinese Taoism, making it a prime example of cultural diversity. The ancient relics of temples and shrines reflect the district's varied religious history and its profound impact on the local culture.
Led by Dr. Naparat Chukerd and students from the School of Informatics, Walailak University visited Sichon District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, to film a video interview on the concept of reusing waste materials from various packaging, such as coffee bags, milk cartons, and snack wrappers, to create new products with added value and utility.
